Al enjoys being spontaneous with his giving by sponsoring local races, charities, as well as clubs and organizations. Al is actively involved in the following community organizations:
- Currently serving as board member for NAMI Lee, Charlotte and Hendry Counties. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
- Served as Board Member and Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Cape Coral.
- Team Leader for United Way of Lee County Allocations Team.
- Sandoval Community Campaign Chair for the United Way.
- Co-Chairs Sandoval Community 5k. Proceeds go to Mission United to support local Veterans.
- Al enjoys running with local run clubs, Cape Coral Running Club.
- He has served on the Cape Coral Community Foundation Board of Directors.
